Carrom Elite 3D · Effective 20 October 2026
This policy covers the game Carrom Elite 3D (package com.questbytes.carromelite), published by Questbyte Labs ("the game", "we"). The short version: we do not collect, store on our servers, or sell any personal information. The game has no sign-up and no in-app purchases, and your progress stays on your phone. The game is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some device information to deliver those ads (see Advertising below).
Information stored on your device
To remember your progress and preferences, the game keeps the following on your device only:
- Profile: the nickname, avatar and country flag you choose, plus your level, XP and trophies.
- Coins and items: your in-game coin balance and the strikers, boards and coin sets you have unlocked and equipped. Coins are earned by playing. They can't be bought with real money or cashed out.
- Statistics: games played, won and lost, queens covered, coins pocketed, fouls, win streaks and your best practice score.
- Rewards: when you last claimed the daily bonus or spun the wheel, and your mission and achievement progress.
- Settings: sound, music, vibration, graphics quality, frame rate, camera view, aim style and aim guide.
- An unfinished game against the computer, so you can continue it later.
This information is never sent to us. You can erase your statistics from Settings → Reset statistics, and uninstalling the game deletes all of it.
Game modes
Every mode, including vs Computer, Pass & Play, Practice and the online city tables, is played on your device. The city tables currently match you with computer-controlled opponents. No game moves, scores or profile details are sent to our servers or to other players. In-game chat is limited to preset quick messages and does not leave your device.
If we add real-time play against other people in a future update, this policy will be updated before that feature is released, and it will explain what is shared and with whom.
Advertising
The game shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad between games (never during a shot), and optional videos you can choose to watch for a reward such as free coins. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and app details, and how you interact with ads (for example, whether an ad was shown or tapped). Google may use this information to show ads based on your interests (personalised ads). Google handles this information under its own policies: see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google privacy policy. We never receive or see this information.
Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): in these regions the game asks for your consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy choices in the game.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads on some devices). You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
- Vibration: you can turn haptic feedback off in the game's settings.
- Deletion: uninstalling the game deletes everything stored on your device and stops all data collection by the game and Google AdMob.
Permissions
The game uses the internet and network state so Google AdMob can load ads, and vibration for short haptic feedback. Ads include the advertising ID permission. The game does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, photos or files.
Ratings
After some wins the game may ask whether you would like to rate it. If you agree, it opens the game's page on Google Play. Any review you post is handled by Google Play under the Google privacy policy.
Children
Carrom Elite 3D is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the game in a way that resulted in information being collected, please contact us and we will help you resolve it.
Third parties
The game is built with the Unity engine. No Unity services that collect data are enabled. The only third-party service included is Google AdMob for ads, including Google's User Messaging Platform for consent. Downloads and updates are handled by Google Play under the Google privacy policy.
Data security and retention
Progress data stays on your device until you reset it or uninstall the game. Data collected by Google AdMob is sent over encrypted connections and kept according to Google's retention policies.
Changes
If the game's behaviour changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised.
