This policy covers Islamic HD Wallpapers (package com.questbyte.islamichdwallpapers), published on Google Play by Questbyte Labs ("the app"). The short version: the app collects no personal information, shows no ads and has no accounts.
Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting tools. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, advertising ID or usage data, and we do not share or sell any data with anyone.
Data stored on your device
The app keeps a small amount of data on your device only, so it works smoothly:
- Wallpaper catalogue cache: titles, categories and image links, so the grid loads instantly and works offline.
- Favorites and recently viewed: which wallpapers you have saved or opened.
- Settings: grid size and whether new-wallpaper alerts are on.
- Image cache: downloaded thumbnails and previews.
None of this leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it, and you can clear the image cache, favorites and recently viewed from the app's Settings screen.
Network requests
To show wallpapers, the app downloads the wallpaper list from Supabase and the images from Cloudflare. If new-wallpaper alerts are on, the app checks for new wallpapers in the background now and then.
These requests contain no personal information. Like any internet connection, they carry technical details such as your IP address, which the hosting providers may log briefly for security and operation. We do not use these details to identify or track you.
Permissions
- Internet and network state: to download wallpapers and to know when you are offline.
- Set wallpaper: to apply an image to your home or lock screen when you ask.
- Notifications (optional, Android 13+): to tell you when new wallpapers are added. You can decline it, or turn alerts off in Settings at any time.
Downloaded wallpapers are saved to your Pictures/Wallpapers folder through Android's media store, so the app never needs access to your other photos or files.
Wallpaper content
The wallpapers are images of Islamic places, verses and art, shared for personal use as phone backgrounds. If you own an image in the app and want it credited or removed, email us at the address below and we will act on it promptly.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if ads are added, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised before that version is released.
